Up next in our new leadership series are our newest Associate Program Managers, Michelle Bollinger and Jarren Jackson! They’ve both been key contributors to our outsourced customer service and customer success teams, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they guide the growth of their teams as they step into their new roles.
What Associate Program Managers Do
Formerly known as Junior Program managers, our Associate Program Managers are part of our leadership development program, and split their time between client work and leadership tasks. They learn all the ins and outs of leading Bandalier’s teams by working closely with their Program Manager and Senior Program Manager. APMs gradually pick up more tasks as they get into the rhythm of leadership. You’ll find our APMs leading stand-ups and call reviews, running role-plays with their team, and collaborating with their PM to review goals for their program.
Michelle
Michelle joined our team in April 2021, and quickly became one of our top team members. Using the materials that Jess, Jesse and Kelly built, she learned all the key topics that callers had questions about. Michelle kept up that momentum too, picking up new topics and projects from her client. Before long, she was the first responder for all security-related questions!
Michelle brought the same curiosity to our leadership development program. She asked great questions and reached out for clarification, making sure she fully understood the materials at hand. She helped maintain the supportive environment created by her PMs, and is excited to keep building up her team –
“I am really excited to be an APM! I‘m eager to learn how to be successful in my new role, so that I may help my team continue to grow stronger so that we all succeed. Sure, there will be challenges along the way, but I welcome that, it will only help me grow and be an effective leader.”
Jarren
Jarren joined our team earlier this year, in March of 2022. He joined our team with an interest in tech and finance, so joining our crypto-focused customer serviced team brought him lots of opportunities to learn. Jarren ramped up quickly, training with Jesse, Kelly, Michelle, and other key team members before hitting the phones. As a member of our late shift, he built a strong ‘after-hours’ team that knew how to rely on each other.
Jarren’s kept learning fast as he starts working with our leadership team. He’s a quick study and even quicker to implement new ideas, especially when he knows they’ll help his team save time. Jarren’s looking forward to sharing his learnings with his teammates –
“As a newly promoted APM, I am most excited about the opportunity to glean from senior leadership – working closely with them to develop professionally. I also can’t wait to learn/meet any new team members in this growing environment.”
Congratulations to Michelle and Jarren on their new roles! If you’re looking for an incredible team to grow with, get in touch with us! We’re always looking for fresh talent to pair with growing companies.
